Recently Lacking in Physical Health

So recently I have been quite unmotivated and not able to muster up the mental strength to get to the gym, or even enjoy an outdoor activity. I have been in this slump and just today decided I would plan for a hike on Saturday. For me, planning helps me achieve, whether that be a simple task, or something of greater importance. My mind can get the best of me at times and I start to make excuses and believe them, planning combats that for me.
I have not been to the gym in over two weeks, nor have I gone for a jog or even a hike. Physical health is extremely important, we only get one body and one life to live. I tell myself that I get exercise from work, which is true, but it is nowhere what I would accomplish working out. At work I get my steps in, I lift 40 pounds or more, and even do some variation of yoga when having to stretch while on the ground stocking items on the shelf.
Come Saturday I will go for a hike, somewhere I have not been before, so it will be a new experience for me. Afterwards a quick gym visit for some strength training, so I can use the shower facility since I am officially living a nomadic life now. Follow along to my Instagram for story posts for instant updates, and of course look for an update to my blog about much that is to come. I have decided I will not be lazy anymore and find my inner motivation. I am staring a new chapter in my life and this involves living my best life, both mentally AND physically.
